I absolutely loved taking this class! I knew next to nothing about professional translating when I started the program, and now I feel 100% confident and ready to start my career. The readings, videos, and assignments cover a broad range of topics and are thoughtfully selected to provide all the training necessary to become a translator. Prof. Mansilla is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and truly cares about seeing his students succeed, and the guest lecturers are equally great. Also, the friends I’ve made and colleagues I’ve met are an added bonus! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in becoming a translator.
